BIO

Shayna Jones joined the NFF in 2023 as a Rocky Mountain Region Program Manager, and is managing a diverse program of work spanning the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grasslands and the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests. She has over 10 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, consulting groups, and local governments on collaborative natural resource and watershed management across the Western U.S. Shayna previously worked at the Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed, managing the Cameron Peak Fire Restoration Program, and at the Big Thompson Watershed Coalition as the Executive Director.

Shayna holds an M.S. in Conservation Leadership and the Human Dimensions of Natural Resources from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Shayna and her family enjoy climbing, skiing and exploring areas in Northern Colorado and Wyoming.
