Selena Harper joined the National Forest Foundation in October 2023 as Senior Director of Development. In this capacity, Selena leads a team focused on growing general operating support to ensure the organization's sustainable future. Prior to joining the NFF, Selena served as Deputy Director of Black Feminist Future, a national social justice movement and culture change organization, as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Development with Women Engaged, a southeast regional BIPOC voter engagement organization, as Senior Associate Director of Development with The Nature Conservancy in Georgia, and as Development Officer with the Atlanta Mayor's Office. Selena possesses a BA in political science from Spelman College, an MS in public policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA with concentrations in marketing and strategy from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, indulging in art and culture, and a very active hot yoga practice.
