"The day after I graduated from high school I jumped right in to protect our public lands with the Bureau of Land Management. That was when I found passions for the outdoors, public lands, and wildland fire mitigation & prevention. I have always spent plenty of time outside & in the forests with my family, but it wasn't till I was in the thick black smoke of a wild fire that I realized the importance of protecting our treasured public lands."
