"National Forests are a treasure. It's impossible to overstate the value of what they provide, including critical wildlife habitat and opportunities to experience and connect with the natural world. The Gila National Forest is a defining part of the culture and character of my hometown- I love the time I get to spend hiking, camping, and cooling off in the Gila River. I’m passionate about engaging with the community to restore forest and watershed health in this vast and beautiful landscape."
