BIO

Marly joined the NFF in 2024 as the Southwest Colorado Senior Associate. Working with the NFF’s Rocky Mountain Region team, Marly supports the Wood for Life partnership and other program work on the San Juan National Forest.

Marly studied Biology and Environmental Science at the College of William & Mary in southeastern Virginia, and found a passion for tackling environmental challenges through a community-focused lens. Prior to joining the NFF team, she supported several Conservation Corps programs in Colorado including Mile High Youth Corps and the Junior Ranger program at the City of Boulder, and then joined the San Juan Mountains Association in managing volunteer programs.

Based in Durango, Marly loves to spend time on the San Juan National Forest climbing, running, and skiing - and sometimes exploring with her two adventure cats.
