Marlee Ostheimer joined the NFF in 2013 and serves as the Northern Region Program Manager. With over a decade of experience working in the conservation space, Marlee brings a deep understanding of the natural resource issues facing Montana and North Idaho, fundraising experience, and passion for this spectacular landscape.

Marlee grew up in Montana, finding her love of nature hiking in the hills and forests around her home. Marlee studied natural resource management and wilderness issues at the University of Montana where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. Upon graduating, Marlee spent several years working in the sustainable food space, including as an AmeriCorps VISTA working to increase local and healthy food choices in public schools. Marlee loves program development and bringing people together to solve complex problems.

Marlee lives in Missoula, Montana where she can be found spending time outside with her family, playing on land and water.
