BIO

Maisie began her work with the NFF as a Conservation Connect Fellow in 2019. She is now the Northern Rockies Program Coordinator based out of Missoula, Montana and is excited to work to support collaborative conservation efforts in the Rocky Mountain West. Prior to joining the NFF, Maisie worked in environmental education leading groups of students on backcountry excursions throughout our public lands while teaching about land management, natural resource issues, and ecology. She has also worked in various agriculture and food system related positions.

Maisie completed her Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and a Professional Certificate in Natural Resource Conflict Resolution at the University of Montana and holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies with a focus in Ecology and Conservation from the University of Vermont. Outside of work, you can often find Maisie working in her garden or exploring Montana’s National Forests on foot or on skis.
