BIO

Luke joined the National Forest Foundation in December 2022 as the Northern Arizona Forestry Senior Associate. Luke works closely with the Northern Arizona team to implement and manage forest health projects located across the Coconino and Prescott National Forests. Before starting with the NFF Luke developed his interest in forestry while working for the Forest Service on the Inyo National Forest as a Forestry Technician. Prior to working for the Forest Service, he spent time working for other government agencies and private organizations, conducting data collection and land management work relating to recreation and rangeland health in California and Wyoming.

Luke is originally from Washington state and earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Montana State University. When not working he likes to spend time outside rock climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, and running.
