BIO

Jim joined the NFF in 2023 as the Medicine Bow Routt Program Coordinator. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he found his appreciation for the outdoors in the Wind River Range of Wyoming. Graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors of Science in Environment and Natural Resources and a concurrent major in Geography.

After graduating, Jim spent 12 seasons working his way up in the Wyoming Conservation Corps to the title of Program Director. His background with trail crews, and spending his summers exploring Wyoming has helped him transition into the NFF. Now as a Program Coordinator, he is grateful for the opportunity to work with like minded people to inspire personal and meaningful connections to National Forests.
