BIO

Jillian Fahringer joined the NFF in 2021. She works to create communications around forest health, recreation opportunities, and educating people on how to help support their public lands.

She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Strategic Communications and an emphasis in Advertising. Prior to the NFF, Jillian served on an internship in Environmental Policy with the Ecological Restoration Institute. Here, she fostered a passion for public lands, public relations, and community engagement. When she isn’t at work, she is likely to be found outdoors pursuing her passion of backpacking, hiking, and camping throughout Oregon.
