"I'm passionate about the work of the NFF because we take a comprehensive approach. We care not only about the forest, but also the plants, animals and people who call it home, and the communities that rely on them for air, water, recreation, and their way of life."

Jeff joined the National Forest Foundation in April of 2023 as the Chief Marketing Officer. He is responsible for leading the organization’s marketing and communications efforts, highlighting the great work the organization does on behalf of the country’s forests and grasslands.

Jeff has a 25-year history of leading marketing, strategy, and management efforts in the nonprofit, government, and for-profit space. Prior to joining the NFF Jeff ran an agricultural business with operations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and the Dominican Republic.

He also spent nearly a dozen years at The Nature Conservancy, leading marketing and volunteerism efforts across North America, with a focus on broadening support for conservation from audiences not traditionally engaged in conservation organizations. Menino in Boston, where he managed communications, community and corporate relations, and designed programs to expand early childhood literacy.
