BIO
Emily Bruns joined the NFF in May of 2022 as the Conservation Awards Associate. Prior to joining the NFF, Emily worked at the University of Colorado Foundation where she specialized in gift agreements and compliance, partnering with donors, Development staff and faculty. She is excited to be joining the NFF and supporting conservation efforts.
Emily graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science. Emily grew up in exploring the woods of Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, discovering her love for the forests. You can find her in the mountains trail running, backpacking, foraging for mushrooms, and skiing.
