BIO

Christina joined the National Forest Foundation in November 2023 as the GIS Program Developer. She is responsible for leading the organization’s geospatial strategy. She has over 15 years of experience in the private and government sectors facilitating large-scale technology transformations with GIS to guide data-driven insights and decisions, planning and impacts reporting. She most recently worked for a global IT firm, Cognizant, advising one of the largest utilities on the East Coast of the United States in their full-scale enterprise GIS implementation. Concurrently, she brings a background in biology, stream and wetland restoration, and environmental impact analysis. She received a Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of California Santa Barbara in Biology and Art.

Christina, her partner Breece, and their adventure-loving dogs enjoy backcountry exploring and camping around the Colorado Plateau. During the winter, Christina and Breece also enjoy traveling to Mexico to snorkel along coral reefs and kayak in the Sea of Cortez. Christina is an artist and oil paints landscapes en plein air.
