"National Forests are important to me because I am passionate about ecological forestry and believe whole heartedly that humanity’s reciprocal relationship with forests is a cornerstone of sustainable societies."
BIO
Anna was born and raised in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and has a lifelong connection with and love of Western Oregon forests. She earned a BS from the Evergreen State College and am currently working towards a MS in forestry from Oregon State University. She's worked in forestry for over 25 years doing everything from fighting wildfire, tree planting, trail construction, tree planting inspections, and stocking surveys. When I’m not working, she enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and hiking in the forest with my dog Kenai.
