BIO

Allison Powell joined the NFF in April 2023 as the Conservation Awards Associate. In her new role she primarily assists the grantmaking programs within the NFF. Alli has six years of experience in the nonprofit and conservation industries that includes both an Americorps term and a staff role with a conservation corps, two seasons with the Forest Service managing a volunteer program, and a previous position with the NFF as an Agreement Specialist.

Alli holds a Bachelors degree in Sustainability from Arizona State University, and has a particular interest in sustainable agriculture. In 2022 she spent a summer in coastal Maine working for a nonprofit farm specializing in sustainable agriculture research, learning how to grow vegetables with a climate resilient approach. When not at work, Alli can be found reading a good book with a cup of coffee, tending a no-dig garden, or watching a British period piece.
