In April, the National Forest Foundation and KettleHouse launched a new partnership effort designed to give back to Montana’s National Forests. KettleHouse is contributing one dollar per beer poured to the National Forest Foundation from a dedicated tap handle at each of their two taproom locations in Missoula and Bonner. These funds will be invested into the Montana Forest Fund, a new program created through the National Forest Foundation designed to create lasting benefit to the lands, waters, and recreational resources of Montana’s National Forests.
For the time being, the dedicated tap handles prominently feature the National Forest Foundation’s name and logo. In the coming months, the National Forest Foundation and KettleHouse will host a local art contest for the Montana Forest Fund Program and a permanent logo for the tap handles.
“Now more than ever, Montanans are getting out and enjoying their National Forests. We feel that it’s imperative to simultaneously take care of these special places. We’re excited to partner with the National Forest Foundation to give back to our Forests in a meaningful way” said Tiffany Lutke, Marketing Manager for KettleHouse.
On an annual basis, the National Forest Foundation will work with the Forest Service in Montana to invest the funds raised through the partnership into priority restoration and recreation-based projects that provide meaningful and lasting improvement to Montana’s National Forests.
“We are so excited to have KettleHouse as a founding partner for this new Montana Forest Fund program. We are looking forward to working together to grow the effort into the future and welcome other local and regional businesses to join us.”
