In 2017 the NFF and a coalition of dedicated stewardship partners across Colorado launched the Find Your Fourteener campaign. Skilled trail crews, determined volunteers, and energetic youth corps are building better trails, protecting the alpine, and working together to ensure Colorado’s Fourteeners are healthy. With sustainable trails, these iconic peaks will continue to inspire outdoor adventure and exploration for years to come.

Now, with a growing number of partners, we’re ramping up for a second jam-packed season of critical trail and restoration work on four priority peaks – Mount Elbert, Pikes Peak, Quandary Peak and Kit Carson Peak/Challenger Ridge. In 2019 we expect to add Mt. Columbia and others priority peaks to the list, and the sky is the limit from there!

At the NFF we’ve been fortunate to receive incredible support for this campaign through a major partnership with REI and other businesses and foundations that are decided to stewardship of our National Forests.

As we continue to expand our efforts, we’re excited to announce a new way for YOU to join the Find Your Fourteener campaign: the Trailblazers! By becoming a Trailblazer, you’ll be taking action to protect and sustain recreation on Colorado’s beloved Fourteeners.

With a one-time donation, you’ll join a community of Fourteener supporters. AND we’ll help gear you up for the hiking season with outdoor swag from some of our favorite Colorado brands...

Please consider joining us. To the Trailblazers out there, we look forward to seeing you on the trail this season!

Are you in? Become a Trailblazer.
